My BABY is SiX......... HaPpY bRiThDaY MR. KaLeB!

What a DAY!!!

It started by DADDY making his FAVORITE breakfast! This little man LOVES bacon and hashbrown patties!!!!

Then he got to open ONE present BEFORE school.... Sister loved helping him...

Getting ready for school.... Wearing his NEW shirt...

Then we put him on the bus and sent him to school... we hurried and got ready and met him at his field trip (FISHING DAY) at Salam Pond. Grandpa Gene meet us there! (It was a SUPER raining day but not as bad in Salam but man was it COLD!!!)

Just getting off the bus (the orange vest is to spot him if he runs :).....

Three generations ready to FISH...

Meeting Smokey the bear...

A guy came and told us he had a LUCKY fishing pole for Kaleb to use...(they hooked fish and through them into the water so each kid caught a fish! how cute is that???)

Then they took it to be gutted/cleaned...

Then time for a CLASS picture...

Then they feed us lunch! This is the cutest thing I have ever seen put on for special needs kids! And it made my day that it was on my babies special day! How FUN!!!

Then because Kaleb would not eat there lunch we took him (instead of riding the bus) and got him a kids meal! Just mom, dad, and Kaleb out to lunch for his Birthday!

Later we meet the class back at school for his birthday treat to share. He picked out his FAVORITE cookies that have LOTS of FROSTING and of course he only ate the FROSTING :)

Then for DINNER... We got his FAVORITE DINNER... PEPPERONI PIZZA....

Then Bri made him a birthday cake with moms help...

Then it was time for MORE PRESENTS... (We also blew up balloons and had them everywhere - he loved playing with them! Bri also decorated the house before he got home from school!)

It made my day that we got so many SMILES from him opening this present - HE LOVES IT!!! YAY!!!

That's ALL.... WOW... what a BIRTHDAY!!! We haven't even done a birthday party yet because of the weather... so we will have to get to that!!!

Kaleb - I love you more then words! I'm so very lucky you are mine!!! You have completely changed the way I look at things and think about things. I smile whenever I think of you! You are my special boy who I know is so pure that you won't have to worry about the same challenges the rest of us have to face - you are PERFECT! Thanks for letting me be your mommy!

9 Years BABY!!!

9 Years ago I married the most amazing man in the world! I can't believe I ended up with such a great guy! He is so nice all the time - REALLY sometimes it's not so good because he makes me look like the bad guy because he is always so nice! He cooks us dinner all the time! Cleans, does dishes, does laundry ALL THE TIME! He works so hard for us! He is always taking care of the kids - and hands down changes way more diapers then me!

I love you so much honey! Thank you for all you do - you're truly the best! I love that I'm married to my BEST FRIEND!

Mother's Day 2010

This was the BEST Mother's Day EVER! Such a fun day! Somehow the kids and I made it to church on time! And on top of that Kaleb made it through all of sacrament meeting and did REALLY well! (I finally downloaded a bunch a primary songs and put them on my MP3 player for him to listen to, since he hates the noise and LOVES my MP3 player - but it didn't work out to well - LOL - come to find out he just loves Black Eyed Peas and I wasn't about to let him listen to that during church!!!). Chris and the kids gave me this cute dress that I LOVED! I got LOTS of little handmade gifts and cards from my kids that were darling! When we got home from church I hurried and made rolls, we picked up Chris' grandma, and then headed to my grandma Sim's for a BBQ!
Bri LOVES finding Rollie Pollies - and I remember always doing that when I went to my grandmas house... To cute to see her doing it now!

Grandma and Kaleb
Bri and grandma
Bri & Mommy.... & Brett (He hurried in as we took the picture - isn't he cute?)
I love this picture...because Kaleb is holding my face...crazy how much I love my kids!

I rode in the back of the car with the kids - since grandma Sybil was up front. It was so much fun to play and be goofy with the kids!

Oh... and Thank you to my awesome sister who did my hair for Mother's Day! I love it! Lots shorter and DARKER!

Thank you family ~ Mommy loves you so much!

Zoo Field Trip with Bri's Class - May 7th 2010

I got to go with her class on a field trip to the zoo! So much fun!!!
Her BEST FRIEND - Savanna!

Briana had the most amazing teacher this year! Honestly if I think about the school year ending too much - I will cry! I LOVE her teacher so much!!! If you have a child going into 1st grade at her school - pray that you get Ms. Monson!

Ms. Monson with some of the kids!

It is SO MUCH FUN being a mom! I love it! And I must say: "Bus drivers have nerves of steel! - How do they stay so calm and so patient when it is that LOUD and CRAZY on a bus!" I had to go get a Diet Coke after the ride home - and I stopped drinking the stuff. But seriously WOW I had a head ache - LOL.

Walk Now for Autism Speaks 2010

....well... it was ANOTHER rainy/snowy cold year for the walk! But I think it still turned out super fun! Man it is a lot of work every year but somehow all seems worth it in the end. I was the Entertainment Chair again... so we got to stay busy.

It all started at 7:30am helping make this AWESOME balloon arch! If you ever need balloons let me know - I have a cute friend that is very talented and can do anything with balloons!

And I also know the cutest princess... if you are looking for a FUN birthday party idea!

The Autism Walk tends to be such an emotional thing for me each year! It is as important to me as say a child's baptism. It is hard to ask people to come in fear that they won't come or feel pressured. Through the years I have worked so hard to get everyone to come and then it didn't work out as planned and my feelings would get hurt. So this year I didn't push it - so for those who came... it meant a TON! They didn't get PRESSURED to come - they just came out of the sweetness of their hearts! I know Saturdays are busy - we all have games, work, etc, etc. So THANK YOU to those who came and showed your support:
Grandpa Gene, Grandma Peggy (Thank you for tending the kids and bringing them up!), Grandpa John (even though you weren't too happy about it), Heidi, Kalie, Brooke, Hailey, Chance, Brett, Kody, Lindsey, Damon, Lindsey, Jayden, Morgan, Sadie, Marlee (so cute and bundled up)! My awesome Young Women girls - Morgan & Jessie & Cindy! My sweet friend I work with, Shanny and her WHOLE family that came and helped us set up! Then my amazing trainer - Camille, her husband Russ and their 3 boys helped the whole time, and her mom RayAnn.
We love all of you for coming and being there! Thank you!!!
