October CORNMAZE

Grandma and Grandpa Knaphus took everyone to the Halloween CORNMAZE! IT was so much fun! Kaleb seriously LAUGHED so hard the whole time - that the rest of us couldn't stop laughing! We went through the scary part and everytime somone would jump out he would laugh so hard that he would fall on his butt! Then he would go after them... and try to touch their faces or hold their hands! He wasn't scared one bit!!! Briana thought she was a teenage and I didn't see her the whole time!!! She was hanging out with the big teenage girl cousins - Kami, Hanna, & Kalie! After we had donuts and apple cider off of grandpas tailgate. Such a fun night! Kaleb was asleep before we even hit the first light on the way home.... he wore himself out!!! Briana didn't make it the whole way home either... they were both OUT!!!

Gardner Village - WITCHES!!!

WOW!!! We were not the only ones who wanted to go see the witches at Gardner Village! It was CRAZY busy!!! We went into the candy shop and he could barley move there were so many people! We got carmel apples and then we were all done!

There were too many people to even make it enjoyable! So we thought we could do a Halloween Stuff at home and have it be funner! On the way home little Bridger said "Geri, in that candy shop there were so many people it was driving me CRAZY!" My thoughts exactly!!! The Witches made me want to be a WITCH :)

That night we got pizza & made carmel popcorn and watched the new Karate Kid with cousins over!

HALLOWEEN....

We had such a FUN Halloween. Friday when the kids came home we headed out to the HUGE Lehi Halloween Party and Chris went to Matai's football game. We got to do trick or treating there along with playing games, going to a magic show, hearing fun Halloween stories, and watching Monsters vs. Aliens on the big screen while we ate dinner! We got our picture taken there so I need to scan it in and post it. Then when we got home I felt like I needed to do some damage control so I got the kids in their Halloween pj's and we headed to the boot camp class - which is Chris' class - I do another class that isn't on Friday's - Chris was able to meet us there and we all worked out together! Bre had so much fun she kept asking if we could do that every Friday as a family! You bet!!! She is even having me count how many push ups she can do!

Then SATURDAY on HALLOWEEN.. We headed to McDonalds for breakfast! How much fun is that? Then we did go grocery shopping - poor kids - mom had to get it done! Then they came home and played outside since we had AWESOME weather! Then for dinner we had a PUMPKIN shaped pizza. Then FINALLY they got to go Trick or Treating! So exciting!!!

Then I did what I do EVERY year while they are Trick or Treating!!! I turned on Practical Magic, popped popcorn, and watched my Halloween movie while I stayed at home and answered the door for all the cute trick or treaters! I LOVE HALLOWEEN!

Halloween Parties at the Kid's School Classes!

We started the day out with the kids parades. I went to Kaleb's and Chris went to Bre's - since they were at the same time. Then I went home frosted the rest of the sugar cookies that we made for the teachers and bus drivers. Then my mom met us and we headed to Kaleb's school.

My mom is an AWESOME WITCH and she read a story to Kaleb's class! They did pretty good with it! They were a little unsure but I think they still liked it. I didn't take as many pictures at his party because he was playing with the camera most the time :) I'm so happy with his class! His teachers ROCK and are so cute with him! I just found out Kaleb's teacher is pregnant - so excited for her but I'm crossing my fingers that she stays feeling OK so she is able to still teach. We just love her!!!

Then we headed to Bre's class where my mom was reading a WITCH story to them too!

Halloween Party at Grandma and Grandpa's

Ned had his biker boots on and when he took them off - Kaleb went for them! He liked Ned that night!!! Well Ned's phone anyways :)

Grandma gave the boys face paint crayons and this is what happened!

All the kids put on a super cute haunted house show and everyone had a blast!

Later that night I met up with Ned & Audrey and we went to see the new movie Couples Retreat and after we sat and talked for hours! It was such a fun night. The next morning I got my new church calling... super excited about it! I'm the new Young Women's Secretary - it should be much funner then the library :)

Then after... I had dinner ready for them! I made rolls in the shape of spiders and topped them with poppy seed so they were black :) and then we had spiders and brains (top roman soup) for our Halloween dinner!

(side note: I also made pumpkin soup rolls and went all out using food coloring and making stems - I thought it was a fun idea but it didn't work quite as well - Chris got a really good laugh out of them, they turned out a little indecent if you know what I mean :) oh well the spiders worked out!!!)

Halloween Fun

The kids had no school on Monday Oct 5th ~ so we had a little halloween party. Bre, Kaleb, and mommy went to walmart and got FUN halloween stuff and came home to do all the fun things.

First we ate a halloween lunch - everything was orange and the sandwiches were pumpkins.

For dessert we had witches hats!

Then we decorated the pumpkins we picked out earlier that day at walmart.

Slowly we added more and more neighbor kids to the mix... and they all had a halloween treat...

Then they watched some halloween movies....

The kids had a blast ALL day - no one wanted to go home so we ended up feeding everyone dinner....
