St. Patricks Day

HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!

We got our "green" on! In the morning Chris & I went to Pioneer Party and got balloons, then stopped by Lehi Bakery and picked up green cookies (I was too pregnant to feel like making holiday treats this year so we bought them!!!). Then when I went to work Chris picked up green plates and little green sprite cans. So we could have an after school treat!

Briana had made a Leprechaun trap and ALMOST caught him!!! He left gold chocolate coins for her though!
Then that crazy Leprechaun left a MESS - Gold & Silver chocolate candies were everywhere! We didn't mind though!!!

Proof that we got our green on too and that mom was 9months pregnant with Kelsey!

St. Patricks DAY!!!

Those darn Leperchauns- THEY MADE a MeSs!!! Through out the house!!!

Gold and Silver - EVERYWHERE!

Even some GREEN candy for KK - since he doesn't like Chocolate!

So we went to pick Bree up from the bus to tell her what we found at home and we saw these cute boys in green!!!

This little boy chased Chris down and PINCHED him because he WASN'T wearing any GREEN!
We made it in time to see her get off the bus!
And of course took pictures of us in GREEN...

When she saw the mEsS... she was like "what the heck!"....
And like a little sweetheart - she cleaned it all up for mom & dad!
There was so much we had to find a bag for her to carry all of it!

THEN FINALLY ... MR. KK got home!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at him in GREEN!

He was so happy to see his GREEN candy - Yum, YUM!

Sissy Helped Him get some candy!
Then we set them up to the table for a little St.Patricks day TREAT!

Green Punch - Green Donuts!
Yummy!!!

Happy St. Patricks Day!!!!! IT's so fun to have little kids!!!

St. Patricks Day

I LOVE holidays!!! However this one snuck up on me!!! I've been so busy I kinda forgot to plan anything. I knew the kids had green clothes they could wear and Bree had St. Patty bows from last year still - so we were good, right?

Well, I was doing Bree's hair when she said "Mom, I can't wait to come home and find all the hidden gold the Leprechauns are going to bring over while I'm at school." Crap.... I guess kids at school have been talking and their moms have done more then me :) - so I was glad I found out what she was expecting before it was too late! Off to the stores I went - with no luck! Store after store everything was sold out!!! Unless you were looking for a beer mug hat & socks - they had those but I didn't think that would be appropriate. Chris got off work and hit stores along the way home for me but it didn't have any luck either. We ended up in PG at the Macey's because we heard they had stuff - nope sold out there too! So I decided I would use gold chocolates - like Rolo's, Reces, etc.... Not a half bad idea - wish I would've have thought of that at the first store. Then they had St.Pattys donuts - so I thought PERFECT - she will love it & I can give the teachers/bus drivers something too! All in All - I think it turned out GREAT!

Before School...
The Bows.... (the hair is always important, right?)

After School - the "gold" and in this case "silver" too - HUNT
I think it turned out ok... she was excited & didn't say anything about it not being the gold chocolet coins we searched so hard for.

Lunch.... and the St. Patricks day Desert
Kaleb - after he got home from school - enjoying his donut!!!
He LOVED the GREEN punch I bought!!!

St. Pattys day Jammies before going to bed! I was a slacker this year and didn't buy the fabric this year before it was sold out - so they had to wear last years jammies - which are now total floods.
