Zoo Field Trip with Bri's Class - May 7th 2010

I got to go with her class on a field trip to the zoo! So much fun!!!
Her BEST FRIEND - Savanna!

Briana had the most amazing teacher this year! Honestly if I think about the school year ending too much - I will cry! I LOVE her teacher so much!!! If you have a child going into 1st grade at her school - pray that you get Ms. Monson!

Ms. Monson with some of the kids!

It is SO MUCH FUN being a mom! I love it! And I must say: "Bus drivers have nerves of steel! - How do they stay so calm and so patient when it is that LOUD and CRAZY on a bus!" I had to go get a Diet Coke after the ride home - and I stopped drinking the stuff. But seriously WOW I had a head ache - LOL.

Walk Now for Autism Speaks 2010

....well... it was ANOTHER rainy/snowy cold year for the walk! But I think it still turned out super fun! Man it is a lot of work every year but somehow all seems worth it in the end. I was the Entertainment Chair again... so we got to stay busy.

It all started at 7:30am helping make this AWESOME balloon arch! If you ever need balloons let me know - I have a cute friend that is very talented and can do anything with balloons!

And I also know the cutest princess... if you are looking for a FUN birthday party idea!

The Autism Walk tends to be such an emotional thing for me each year! It is as important to me as say a child's baptism. It is hard to ask people to come in fear that they won't come or feel pressured. Through the years I have worked so hard to get everyone to come and then it didn't work out as planned and my feelings would get hurt. So this year I didn't push it - so for those who came... it meant a TON! They didn't get PRESSURED to come - they just came out of the sweetness of their hearts! I know Saturdays are busy - we all have games, work, etc, etc. So THANK YOU to those who came and showed your support:
Grandpa Gene, Grandma Peggy (Thank you for tending the kids and bringing them up!), Grandpa John (even though you weren't too happy about it), Heidi, Kalie, Brooke, Hailey, Chance, Brett, Kody, Lindsey, Damon, Lindsey, Jayden, Morgan, Sadie, Marlee (so cute and bundled up)! My awesome Young Women girls - Morgan & Jessie & Cindy! My sweet friend I work with, Shanny and her WHOLE family that came and helped us set up! Then my amazing trainer - Camille, her husband Russ and their 3 boys helped the whole time, and her mom RayAnn.
We love all of you for coming and being there! Thank you!!!

Bri's FIRST SOCCER game!!!

Words cannot tell you how excited this little girl was to FINALLY be playing SOCCER! You would have thought it was Christmas morning!

This is her WARMING UP before the BIG GAME!

IF you can see from this picture... it was a little cold - see Kaleb in the wagon hiding under the blanket? He wasn't too impressed with the wind and he was hiding most the time. No worries his little hand came out when ever he was ready for a treat! He is such a funny little man! Side note: We packed camping chairs to sit on and let this be a lesson to us! We will always "CHECK" the chairs before we go. Chris set up my chair, then set up his - only to find he brought the SPECIAL POTTY CHAIR! Too funny! We cut a hole in a chair for Bri to use to go potty while camping - soooo needless to say he put it away and sat on the grass.
Here she is waiting on the sidelines ready to play!
The team hadn't even practiced before the first game - thanks to April Showers! So the cute kids had no idea how to play! They pretty much got killed there first game! They didn't even make one goal :( but I don't think they even realized that!

Kaleb was a little BORED!
Bri got hurt in the game. A big boy from the other team was pretty aggressive and pushed her down and ran over her hand with his cleats. She wasn't too sure she was willing to rub it off!
We brought treats for the team - little water bottles and granola bars - and then after played at the fun park for a minute before heading home.

We then went home and did yard work all day! Fun Stuff! After that we went swimming at the Legacy Center! Such a awesome family day!!! The kids slept AWESOME that night!!!

Easter Egg Hunt at Grandpa's

Chris' dad throws a BIG Easter Egg Hunt every year!!! Grandma Colleen started it and when we lost her - Gene just picked it up and kept it going. We are so glad he has! He really keeps making his house funner and funner every time we go down! In fact if it gets any better we may just have to move in.

First thing we were able to get some pictures - The kids were in there new Easter clothes, but it was too cold to take off our sweatshirts.
I think daddy loves pictures as much as Kaleb does :)

Notice Kaleb is now in a different outfit??? Well between these pictures - he ran faster then us and ended up in the water/creek in grandpas front yard! When I was packing that morning - I brought an extra pair of clothes, socks, and shoes - talk about knowing my kid well!!! I knew we would need them!

See Kaleb out on the tractor? HE LOVES IT!!!
New baby Chicks!

Chris has such a fun family! His Aunts, Uncle, Cousins were there too! I LOVE Spring!
