Grandma Colleen's Birthday!

Jan 25th is always a hard day at our house. We miss grandma so much! We celebrated her birthday at our house this year instead of at her grave - since we went to her grave just two days before. We got her favorite cookies and of course CHERRY COKE! The kids and Chris and I wrote he letters to send to heaven and we read memories of her to the kids. The month after we lost her I wrote the kids lots of letters of every memory I could remember of them with her - and we read those to the kids. IT was so emotional - man it doesn't get any easier!!! She is always in our hearts! We love you grandma - Happy Birthday!!!

Fridgid 5K - Lehi Jan 16th

The day before - I was running and thought Hey, we can do it! So I went to work - Talked Gary into it, Called Ned and talked him into it, and then later that night Heidi called and said she wanted to do it with us! It was fun! And nice to know I could run 3 miles without stopping :) However I dressed way too WARM! I had two layers of pants, shirts, etc - I was HOT!

This Little Man LOST his 1st TOOTH & 2nd Tooth

Sweet little Kaleb lost his first tooth - AT SCHOOL! I was being so careful not to bump it or let him pull it - I didn't want him to loose it! It's kinda funny... Bree I pinned her down and pulled it out - I was so excited. Then with my baby - I didn't want it to happen yet. Can't I just keep him my baby? Anyways... it's tradition to go to ALL A DOLLAR with your dollar, right? Well we let Kaleb pick - so YES we ended up with RED VINES! So I gave him a couple and drove to my workout class where we meet dad and switch places. When I turned around this is the sight I found!!!!

A week later he lost his next tooth - he just came home from school with it gone. No one noticed... so who knows where he lost it or what he did with it :) THE NEXT TRIP TO ALL A DOLLAR we got him a Flute! NO RED VINES - lol!

What we've been up to...

Both Chris and I have been working out at RAGE FITNESS in Lehi and we are in LOVE with it! It is the best gym EVER!!!!

I've started running and LOVE it - at least I want to LOVE it! Some days I do and others - well lets face it... I just HURT. Darn Knee please, please leave me alone and go pick on someone else!

Bree wanted to take a picture of me this day when I came home from running in the morning - because I was WHITE (covered with frost). But the picture did not show it!

All at ONCE!

What do you do when you didn't read the kids notes at the beginning of winter break? Well I read them the night before! So... We did everything at once! She needed to read in a sleeping bag, read with a parent, read to a bear, read with a flashlight, read with gum, read with gloves on, read in pj's, etc. etc.... well we did it!

My Birthday! 31 - WOW!!!

My family gave me the best birthday ever! We woke up and went to Daylight Donuts then off shopping at Old Navy. Then we went to dinner at Red Robin and went shopping at the mall. They got me a cute hoodie and then we went home for cake. Chris helped Bree make it - she did most of it all by herself!!! And then I went and worked out! Yes -I felt sick the whole time since I ate all that "bad" (really good) food all day.

Christmas Morning

Christmas Eve!!!

Growing up - we always went to my grandparents house on Christmas Eve. They had a big open house every year and everyone would come and go - and eat dinner and give gifts. Well after they died my Aunt and Uncle kept up the tradition and now they do the open house at their house. We went to their house - these are the kids in the car!

When we got home it was time to open the Christmas Eve presents!!! I was so EXCITED about these presents for the kids!!! MATCHING Christmas PJ's - I had drove all over the place to find them in Bree's size!!!

Then we were off to the kitchen to make Santa some COOKIES!!! And put carrots out for the reindeer.
