Payson Lakes ~

Early August we went camping as a family up to Payson Lakes! It was such a BLAST!!! The kids were in heaven!!! Bri road her bike everywhere!!! Kaleb could not throw enough rocks into the lake!!! And Tucker even loved the water! We canoed and went for lots of walks! And Bri and daddy fished morning and night! I found out I was pregnant a couple days before we went up there and we were a little shocked :) I kept taking more tests... so I even remember taking one while we were up there camping LOL. But we didn't tell anyone tell September for Briana's birthday. It was so much fun camping and even doing all the fun cooking - like dutch oven desserts, smores, hot dogs, etc. Barbara and grandpa Gene even came up to visit one night for dinner. We stayed up there during the middle of the week since that is Christopher's weekends ~ and that made it so nice because there were hardly any people up there.

Lots of recovery still from knee surgery... 4th of July.... 24th of July.... Both Chris and I have been super busy working all the time and juggling kids. Lots of family BBQs and time up in the mountains. I can't even remember most of July... But I want to start posting and couldn't until I was caught up - so this will have to do!

June... In a Nutshell... No pictures :)

Well... No more pictures... unless I figure out how to get them off of Chris' new phone. But here was what was happening in June.

Chris' Birthday.....  lots of family parties.... then...

June 11 - I ran my first 10k. It was lots of fun!!! I ran it all alone - I couldn't talk anyone into coming with me. It rained tons that morning but cleared up right before the run started. I started at Bridal Vail Falls and ran down to Riverwoods shopping center - 6.2 miles which felt pretty silly when the 26.2 full marathon and 13.1 half marathoners were running at the same time. But 6.2 was good for me :) I finished at 56:30 - but I wasn't reading when the starting thing went off so I think I was at least a minute better :) I got home and went to Bri's soccer game and then later that day we got our family pictures taken.

Then Father's Day FUN....... We are so lucky to have such  a good daddy!

Om June 21st my knee locked up.... long story short.... missed most of girls camp that next week (although  I did go up 3 different days and tried to spend lots of time with them)... By Friday I was in for knee surgery. That was followed by lots of therapy and no more running for a while. Thank you to the amazing family and friends that brought over dinner and things - you are all the best!!! Thank you!!! And for those of you that helped me with Kaleb - I couldn't have done it without you!

That was most of our June.....

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!!

He went to Salem Pond to go fishing for Chris' B-day!!! Nothing like morning fishing! And it was so fun for the kids to be at a park!!!

We both won our 12 week competition at our gym!

These are the dressed pics - but we had to take pics before and after in revealing clothes to prove the change! Scary pictures!!! But fun to win........ We got lots of fun stuff. Like new running shoes. supplements. Bags. Free gym memberships. cowabunga bay passes. and MORE!

Student of the Month

Kaleb got the STUDENT OF THE MONTH AWARD!!!!!!!! He wasn't too impressed :)

TOOTHPASTE .........

He keeps finding the locked up toothpaste and wiping EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our house is minty fresh - feel free to lick the TV - Kaleb does all the time..... taste like toothpaste still! You can't even clean out the toothpaste on some things like speakers. Crazy boy!

Rugby - Matai

Chris' cute nephew's rugby team one the national championship. They even beat the famous Highland team! It was really fun to watch!!! Rugby is nuts!!!!

Kalie - Cheerleading

Cute Kalie made the Riverton High Cheerleading team! She was so excited - she was just bawling - too cute! Oh and she promises to stay sweet :).....

Our Garden

This was just after our garden was planted - man does it look different now :) It is fun to go over every night to water and pick our veggies. I love the little sign Bri painted - so fun to have a little girl!
