Briana's Birthday Party

Holy Smokes! This little girl has been planing her party forever! She made the list of who to invite and picked what she thought was the funniest invitations - she planned everything... I just went along with it. The night before she was so super tired but couldn't sleep - she was TOO EXCITED! She went to school, then went birthday shopping with grandma, & then the party! She was so tired and had been way spoiled with everything all day - so we kinda had a "birthday brat" on our hands. But everything turned out so good - look at how many kids! We invited cousins her age & neighbors! WOW! We are so lucky to have such great supportive friends! She was so excited everyone was there - she loves each one of these kids so much! It meant the world to her that everyone came! She still talks about her party! - Thanks everyone for coming!!!

Briana loves going birthdaty shopping with grandma Peggy! They go to build a bear each year!!! I wasn't too suprised when I saw she picked a Hannah Montana Bear - Of course she would get that!

2008 Autumn Carnival for Autism - Sahara Cares

Sahara Construction has started a Sahara Cares foundation and each year they do a Autumn Carnival for Autism!

We went last year and were so excited to go again! It is amazing what they do for these little kids! They want to give each kid with Autism a fun day they can enjoy!

They give each child a shirt (red this year, green last year) so they know who to cater too! They feed the whole family lunch and then you get to play. This year it was at Wheeler Farm.

They had everything from sensory games, bounce houses, to water games.

Check out Kaleb's swollen eye - from a mosquito bite! This is after Benadryl. I was so happy to run into his doctor at the carnival for him to take a look at it!

Look how big of production it is - and this is just a 1/4th of it! Plus look at all those red shirts! It is amazing to see how many people live with Autism now.

A friend gave us FREE tickets to the state fair! So we took advantage of it! Christopher & I had a FIRST date at the State Fair 8 years ago!

Kaleb wasn't too sure why we kept putting his head through these things!

Then our FAVORITE thing at the FAIR!

You go in & they give you cute little aprons for each kid to wear, and a basket to carry your Harvest. Then you go work on the farm!

You milk cows! Squeeze - DON'T pull!

Pick Apples!

They five you seeds & then the kids get to go plant their seeds & then go dig up the kind of Veggie they planted.

Then they pick tractors & take a ride with their harvest in the trailers! Kaleb liked this part!

You brush the sheep & get some wool for your harvest basket.

You get some eggs in you basket!

Look at these Future Farmers of America - FFA members!

Then when you take your Basket/Harvest to the store you get paid $1.00!

Then the kids get to go into the store and buy something with their hard earned money. Things to buy are all Whole Foods! Apples, milk, etc.

The high school FFA kids do this! It is so super cute!

It was a long day! We went to the Autism Carnival and then the fair! This is not long after we got on the freeway headed home! When we got home Briana said she wasn't sleeping just resting her eyes! Sure honey, OK.

Bohn Family Party Sept 6th

Briana's birthday is one of the September Birthdays! So at the family party - she got to have Birthday cake & presents!!! She was so dang excited!

The party was at Amy's which worked out great! Since she has a fenced yard and a tramp! Kaleb was a happy "Jumper".

Briana got a Hannah Montana movie - which I have watched everyday since. Some cute, very needed, clothes! Art Supplies which she loved! A Wedding Barbie which she dresses and washes her hair daily, and then her FAVORITE a CANDY machine! Man - she loved the candy machine. This is her the next day using her "art supplies" to make money for her "candy machine" while watching "Hannah Montana". Thanks family! She was so happy!

*By the way Kaleb thought the candy machine was the coolest! He is her best CUSTOMER!
