Gingerbread Houses... FROM SCRATCH

Yep ... we got a recipe - made our own patterns and made our own gingerbread houses. And this is how it went...
It was hard to get a picture of Kaleb :) But he was enjoying eating all the candy and frosting he could get in his little hands.

They turned out great, right?

Well.......... This is what we found the next morning! Long story short - it is worth the $10 bucks to buy the kits! You end up spending less money less time and they stay up! lol

We had a lot of fun doing them though!

I'm so excited about my new church calling! I was put in as the Young Women's Secretary the last week of October! It is going to be such a blast!

What do you do on winter nights?

Bree was laughing so hard she ran into the bathroom saying "mom I laughed so hard I almost peed my pants!"

Temple Square Lights - Grandma Colleen

December 5th 2009

We started out our morning by driving to Kamas to see our darling little Kassidi be baptized! (Can not believe she is 8yrs old!!! WOW) Then after a fun COLD day in Kamas we drove down to Sandy and met Christopher's family at Training Table for dinner. We then went and got on trax from there and rode up to see the lights at Temple Square. IT was a special/hard day for the family - it was 5yrs ago that day that we lost sweet grandma Colleen. We all miss her so much!!!

Cute Matai had his girlfriend with him and they were so sweet to Kaleb! I love seeing the cousins be so cute with him! We had an interesting ride home on the trax though - some REALLY dunk guys were sitting close and thought Kaleb was making fun of him because he was jumping and waving - FUNNY!!!

Christmas BOOKS

Grandma Colleen gave the kids 25 Christmas books that we wrap up each year and then unwrap a book each night to read as we count down to Christmas. This is one of our FAVORITE Christmas traditions! And Thank goodness Bree LOVES to wrap them up - this year her and Chance wrapped them all!!!
